The first rule of any technology used in a business is that automation applied to an efficient operation will magnify the efficiency. The second is that automation applied to an inefficient operation will magnify the inefficiency. The digital camera is a great invention because it allows us to reminisce. Instantly. ”The new electronic independence re-creates the world in the image of a global village.” Marshall McLuhan. Technology is a gift of God. After the gift of life it is perhaps the greatest of God’s gifts. It is the mother of civilizations, of arts and of sciences. The number one benefit of information technology is that it empowers people to do what they want to do. It lets people be creative. It lets people be productive. It lets people learn things they didn’t think they could learn before, and so in a sense it is all about potential. With the world’s human population now at seven billion and growing, and the demand for technology and modern conveniences increasing, we can’t control all our negative impacts. But we have to find better ways to live within the limits nature and its cycles impose. There is a huge need and a huge opportunity to get everyone in the world connected, to give everyone a voice and to help transform society for the future.
The scale of the technology and infrastructure that must be built is unprecedented, and we believe this is the most important problem we can focus on. Psalm 19:2 ”Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge.” NIV. 2020 is my 11th year while serving in Children Ministry at KE759 as a staff and I can confess that there has been tremendous changes especially in taking of usable images taking from using heavy number boards and cameras to now light smartphones! This is both commendable, admirable and remarkable! Glory be to God. We officially commenced taking usable beneficiaries images on 1st of September 2020 and it has marveled us/FCP staffs, for it’s efficiency. No excuses of having overdue needed usable images now!
